Multi-function APS PowerVerters offer auto line-to-battery transfer and an integrated charging system to serve as an extended run UPS, a standalone power source, or an automotive inverter. These PowerVerters provide AC power to your equipment while utility power is available and charge an array of user-supplied DC batteries at the same time. When AC power is not available, such as during blackouts or when a vehicle equipped with an APS PowerVerter is on the road, APS PowerVerters quickly and automatically switch to providing connected equipment with frequency controlled AC power drawn from attached batteries. Sophisticated electronic circuitry provides high peak surge power (up to 200% of rated output) to start and run heavy draw devices. Automatic overload protection protects the system from damage if overloaded. High-efficiency output is frequency controlled to support sensitive loads such as computers.
